Vegetation Mapping & Condition Assessments

We are recognised throughout the industry as being leaders in vegetation mapping skills (including in GIS representation of mapping data) and in the understanding and application of the TASVEG mapping and classification system, particularly in relation to communities listed as threatened under the Nature Conservation Act or the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act. We have experience mapping vegetation at all scales, from massive wilderness areas down to urban residential blocks, and our Directors have served as representatives on the TASVEG Scientific Reference Group for over 15 years.

We have several staff trained and experienced in conducting TASVEG Vegetation Condition Assessments and extensive experience completing VCA surveys across the state, as well as translating VCA scores into management performance indicators and offset measures. We also have accredited staff under the Victorian Vegetation Quality Assessment Competency Check for the Habitat Hectares method.
